Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? is a mystery geography game. The gameplay is a cross between Clue and a trivia game.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
The object of the game is to collect Clue Cards to determine which thief stole a landmark determined at the beginning of the game.
Players play both a detective and a henchman and may move either but not both during their turn. Detectives try to catch the other players's henchmen to discover clues. Henchmen try to evade the detectives.
Players travel the board resembling the world, by answering geography questions correctly.
Once a detective has seen all of the clues or guesses the thief's identity correctly, they must reach a police station to obtain a warrant. Once all detectives get a warrant they must travel to the thief's hideout to arrest him.
The first detective to reach the thief's hideout wins.
