Features[edit | edit source]

Windows 3.00a is a bugfix release to Windows 3.0, and mostly revolved around fixing errors related to the Windows DOS Extender, where problems might occur when DOS programs called into real mode despite Windows 3.0 being loaded in standard mode. The installation process was also simplified, and several crashes related to printing, networking, and low-memory conditions were also fixed.
