Xbox Series X, previously known under the codename Xbox Scarlett, was formally announced by Microsoft at E3 2019, while the name and console itself was confirmed on December 13, 2019. It is Microsoft's successor to the Xbox One X home console. The Xbox Series X will launch Holiday 2020[1].
