In August 2019, it was announced that Yuke's had ended its partnership with 2K Games, the two having worked on the WWE 2K games since 2013's WWE 2K14, and development duties of the WWE games were turned over to Visual Concepts, starting with WWE 2K20 in 2019. Their most recent release was AEW: Fight Forever (which is All Elite Wrestling's third game and the promotion's first console game), which was released in 2023.
