Back To The Future is a game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is based on the movie of the same name.

Story[ | ]

Marty McFly is a teenager from 1985 who accidentally got transported to 1955 by driving Doc Brown's DeLorean time machine. Worse, he also accidentally interrupted the first meeting of his parents in 1955, eventually dooming himself to nonexistence. In this game, Marty must get his parents to meet and kiss at the school dance and then get himself back in 1985 by racing to the clock tower fast enough to reach it when lightning strikes it.

Gameplay[ | ]

Throughout most of the game, Marty must travel through the scrolling streets of Hill Valley, avoiding bees, bullies, hula-hoop girls, workmen with windows, and other sorts of obstacles while collecting time clocks to keep the picture of his family from fading completely. He can also collect bowling balls to hurl at his adversaries and occasional ten-pins, and ride on skateboards to get across town faster. At four points in the game, there are mini-games that must be completed: fending off Biff Tannen and his goons at Lou's Cafe with milkshakes, blocking Lorraine Baines' hearts at the high school, catching notes at the end of Marty's guitar at the dance, and avoiding lightning bolts while trying to reach 88 MPH driving the DeLorean to the clock tower.
