Isabelle is a character in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She is the player's personal assisstant.

Isabelle is very friendly and open to the player and most of the other villagers. She is very excited to see how the player will shape their town, and offers advice on how to succeed. Despite her friendly, optimistic attitude, she is often absent-minded and forgetful of things. She can easily doze off at her desk in Town Hall. She will help the player arrange ordinances and construction sites for projects. Isabelle also greets the player each time they start the game, notifying them of any new events that are happening (project completion, new neighbor, etc.)
