Jinjos are a recurring species in the Banjo Kazooie series. They are small, multi-colored creatures that tend to get lost very easily. They first appeared in Banjo Kazooie.
Banjo Kazooie[ | ]
Every level has 5 Jinjos (Purple, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange) Banjo must save. After saving the 5th one, a Jiggy appears and the Jinjos "reunite".
Banjo Tooie[ | ]
Jinjos have now been broken up into families (Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Purple, Black, Brown, Grey, and White). When Gruntilda's drill went through Jinjo Village, it destroyed the Grey Jinjo house, killing the entire family. Unlike the first game, some Jinjos are actually their evil counterpart: Minjos.
