Metal Storm is a side-scrolling platforming video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Irem. It was released in February 1991. Despite generally being received well by critics and reviewers, Metal Storm has remained a somewhat obscure release, as it was published by a lesser-known 3rd party company without much publicity.

Metal Storm has a mechanic in the game that allows the player to reverse gravity, allowing the character to walk on either the floor or the ceiling. The game is a bit challenging and requires a mastering of the gravity mechanic.
