The fourth installment of the popular fighting series, based on the Anime series Naruto. The sound 4: Jiroubou, Kidoumaru, Tayuya, and Sakon & Ukon are new playable characters. Kimimaro, Hoshigaki Kisame and Yakushi Kabuto have also just been unveiled (and in slightly bad taste have been nicknamed the KKK team). You can now side step while running and there are proper 3 man supers. There is also at least one new stage (the hospital roof).
Story[ | ]
The Story Mode in the game is not as extensive as previous installments of the GNT series. This is due to the introduction of a new Mission Mode, which doesn't follow the story of the anime (like Story Mode) but adds greatly to the lifespan of the game. The Story Mode roughly covers the Sasuke retrieval arc, but also includes some strangely out of place fights.
