The Panasonic Q is a version of the GameCube that was only released in Japan. It was designed entirely by Panasonic, which explains why it's not bright green. It is basically a combination of a Panasonic DVD player and the physical hardware of the GameCube. It is the only version of the GameCube that can play DVDs.

Because of the extra hardware, it is significantly bigger than the original GameCube, mostly in height. An LCD screen at the top tells you what you're doing. It also greets you with "Hello" and "Goodbye" whenever you turn it on and off.
