Princess Ruto went missing inside Lord Jabu-Jabu's stomach. When Link finally finds her, he must carry her around the area. After defeating the evil inside Jabu-Jabu, she teases Link, asking if he wants to marry her.
Princess Ruto appears in the Water Temple telling Link where to meet up with her at. After defeating the Water Temple boss, Ruto is revealed to be the Sage of Water.
