Rauru is one of the seven sages in The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time who helps Link defeat Ganon after he has entered the Sacred Realm when Link pulled the Master Sword out of its pedestal in the Temple Of Time.
His name becomes one of the towns that Link visits in Zelda II: The Adventures Of Link.
