Shox, released as Rally Shox in Japan, is a 2002 racing rally game by EA, for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube

The main game mode consists of driving across long, complex tracks while advancing through numerous waypoints in a short amount of time, each waypoint rewards you with points depending on your time and what place you were in, building up your score until the race is finished.

Shox is notable for several unique camera features in game, such as interchangeable camera angles, allowing you to switch between a front, back, and first person perspective in game. The game also features low-motion cinematec views during highlights of the course, such as jumps and turns.

Shox received mixed to favorable reviews, scoring 7.8 out of 10 on IGN, 7.9/10 on GameSpot, and 6/10 on Edge. Though despite favorable reception, Shox never had any sequels or spin-offs.
