Swedish Game Development AB (SGD) is an independent computer video game developer based in Malmö, Sweden. The company was founded in 2003 and operates mainly in the casual games industry. Games are released under the brand names Arcade Lab (for Microsoft Windows games) and Mac Joy (for Apple Macintosh games). SGD also runs an online gaming site with more than 20 flash games as well as games for the Apple iPhone, called Donut Games.

The company is operated by brothers Ola and Daniel Zandelin. Ola is in charge of game design and graphics while Daniel handles programming and business operations.

SGD is known for Alice Greenfingers, a casual game that topped the sales charts during the summer of 2007

As most common in the casual gaming industry, SGD release their games as shareware where you can download and play the game for a limited amount of time, usually 30 or 60 minutes. After this time the game will lock itself and the player must purchase a license (full version) to continue playing. All games are available for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X computers. Some games have also been released for formats such as mobile and Pocket PC.

In November 2006 SGD launched an online gaming site called Donut Games. It featured 16 launch games, and new games are added continuously.

iPhone[ | ]

In April 2009 SGD began releasing games for the Apple iPhone. The games are released under the brand Donut Games, and include both old games converted to the iPhone as well as new games.
